The Saxon Longhall is based on the late 9th-century palace excavated in Cheddar which was probably owned by Saxon royalty. It is filled with handmade furniture and includes a central hearth and open fire. 

The Longhall provides the main indoor space within Avalon Archaeology. Your booking will also include access to the Roman Villa Dining Room and Iron Age Roundhouse.
