Children’s Party Packages
Each party package also includes time to play party game classics. Parties are for between 8 and 14 children (including any siblings even if they are not taking part in the activities). Suitable for ages 7+.
Paint Your Own Pottery: Choose something special from our (pre-fired) pottery collection. Get stuck in designing and decorating with an array of colourful glazes and stencils to create a colourful keepsake. Your pottery creations will be gloss-glazed and fired in the kiln, ready to take home after a minimum of 2 weeks. The cost is £28.50 a head. Duration 1hr 30 (allowing time for drop off / pick-up).
Marvellous Makes: Choose one of the marvellous clay designs and get busy shaping and crafting with clay. All finished Marvellous Makes will then head to the kiln for firing – ready for collection after 4 weeks. The cost is £22.00 a head. Duration 1hr (allowing time for drop off / pick-up).
Please note: The children remain the responsibility of the organisers of the birthday party. For children ages 5 to 8, an adult ratio of 1:4 is required. For children aged 8-11, an adult ratio of 1:5 is required.
Parties for Adults
Gather your friends for a delightful pottery party to unwind, socialize, and craft unique pottery pieces. Expect plenty of laughter as you shape, mould, or decorate. It’s a wonderful way to bond with friends, explore your artistic side, and take home a beautiful, handmade piece.
Set within the friendly and relaxed brick and tile workshop with a host on hand to guide you through the activities and ensure everything runs smoothly. We’ll provide the party décor plus soft drinks and glasses, but if you prefer you can bring your own celebratory alcoholic beverages.
To finish the celebrations, you are also welcome to bring your own birthday cake to share (sadly no candles due to the sensitive nature of the fire alarms).
Adults’ Party Packages
This party package includes a bespoke, home-made piece to take home, party décor, and time to mingle in the museum with a drink before getting creative with clay. Parties can accommodate between 8 – 20 people, any time from Wednesday – Saturday, daytime or evening.
