Appointments are strongly encouraged for research visits to Devon Heritage Centre in Exeter. We may be able to accommodate a visitor without booking but this is not guaranteed. Appointments are released mid-month for the following month.

Booking your space and ordering documents

• You must book a document desk space if you wish to order documents before or during your visit.
• If you wish to view maps not available online then you should make a specific booking for the map table.
• If you will require either a microfiche reader, microfilm reader or public access computer then you can make a specific booking for these resources.
• Up to 4 documents per session should be pre-ordered. You can then order further documents during your session.
• Please use the online catalogues to find the references for the items you wish to use.
