Somerset Rural Life Museum
Group Tours: Our special discounted rate for group visits (12 or more) includes a complimentary guided tour of the Museum and is available during opening hours, or in the evening.

Somerset Brick and Tile Museum
We offer tailor-made visits to fit your group’s needs.
Group Clay Experience: Craft unique clay pieces at hands-on workshops. Choose to craft a simple clay creation, such as an animal ornament or coaster, or try a more in-depth make such as a bird feeder. Suitable for adults.
Tailored Group Tours: Discover the last bottle brick kiln in Somerset on a tour of the museum and kiln. Tours can be tailored around a particular theme and can include a tile-making demonstration or a hands-on clay activity. Also available for Youth Groups.
Talks: We can come to your group’s venue to deliver a talk about the South West Heritage Trust and the Somerset Brick and Tile Museum.
Pottery Parties: We offer party packages for adults and children. They are a wonderful way to connect with friends, explore your artistic side, and take home a beautiful, handmade piece. Book a Party
Avalon Archaeology
Group Visits: We welcome group visits Monday to Saturday, including exclusive access to the site with a guided tour of the reconstructions.

Somerset Heritage Centre
The Somerset Heritage Centre holds the major written evidence for the history of Somerset containing millions archives dating from the 8th century to the present day.
Tours: Behind-the-scenes tours can be booked by groups and societies to see the state-of-the-art storage facilities for archives and museums.
Talks: We offer a range of talks for groups and societies, either at your regular meeting place, via Zoom, or at the Somerset Heritage Centre. Talk topics include Research your Somerset Family, or House History and more particular topics such as Nature in the Archives, and Music in Somerset.
Devon Heritage Centre
The Devon Heritage Centre holds the major archive collections of the history of Devon dating back to the 8th century.
Tours: Groups and societies can book tours to explore behind the scenes and view the archive storage facilities.
Talks: We offer tailored theme topics to your particular research needs. There are a range of talk topics available here.

Private Hire
Our sites offer unique museum spaces that can be the perfect venue for ceremonies, private events, or corporate functions. You can also book Castle House Holiday Cottage at The Museum of Somerset for holidays in the original 12th-century Taunton Castle.
