On Saturday 31 October the Prime Minister announced that England would be entering a second lockdown to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Roger Wilkins has been making cider for over 50 years. He brews proper scrumpy with no additives or preservatives. He claims it contains Vitamins A, B, C, D, and E – and kills Coronavirus. He is currently making 20 000 gallons of the cure.

Helen McCann, of Wells, is pictured cycling in tandem with her friend Mary Forrester, of North Wooten. Helen has previously completed marathons, half marathons and triathlons, raising over £100,000 for guide dog charities. She has been unable to run or swim during the current lockdown so has taken to two wheels. Professional dancer Ceara was born and raised in Glastonbury. She trained at the Northern Ballet School and worked as a dancer in America before returning home just before the first lockdown. She currently works stacking shelves in Morrisons. She is pictured dancing on Glastonbury High Street, having been inspired by Amazon’s Christmas advertisement.
