Exhibition Technician

Location: Somerset Heritage Centre,

Brunel Way, Norton Fitzwarren, Taunton, Somerset TA2 6SF 

Salary: £19,100

Contract 2 Year Fixed Contract 

We are looking for a part time Exhibitions Technician to support the delivery of exhibitions at the South West Heritage Trust’s museums and heritage sites.

You will work as part of a team at the Somerset Heritage Centre using extensive workshop facilities to create exhibition furniture, frames and object mounts.

You will have excellent manufacturing skills and experience of working with a range of materials including wood, metal and Perspex.

The postholder will be required to use the Trust’s vehicles to travel between sites and other locations within the region.
