Meet the animals from Second Chance Petting Farm, and enjoy a fun animal craft.

Friday 24 July – Corn Dollies 🌽
Join artist Julia Bedford, in making traditional corn dollies.

Sunday 26 July – Teddy Bear’s Picnic 🐻
Bring your teddy and a picnic to enjoy in the orchard. Spot the bears hiding around the museum.

Tuesday 28 July – Museum Mouse 🐁
Make a mouse mask or headband, and follow the trail around the museum.

Wednesday 29 July – Donkey Day 🫏
Enjoy a donkey craft, and take a ride around the lawn. Rides £2.50, age/weight restrictions apply.

Thursday 30 July – Tractor Day 🚜
See the museum’s Little Grey Fergie Tractor, enjoy tractor toys and games, and get stuck in with the tractor make and take.

Friday 31 & Saturday 1 August – Plough to Plate🥕
Complete the activities around the site, and learn more about how food gets from the farm to the plate.

Sunday 2 August – Play Day🪁
Enjoy the hoops, skipping ropes and other outdoor toys in the courtyard and vintage games and Lego in the learning space.
