Coffee and Clay Mornings

Join us at the Brick and Tile Museum for a coffee and have a go at being creative with clay.

These relaxed, friendly sessions are designed to bring out your creative side by having a play with clay. Our team will be on hand to help with ideas and to point you in the right direction.

No need to book, just drop in!

Session begins at 10.00 and ends at 12.30 (the closer you come to 10.00 the more time you will have).

Cost £5 including a hot drink and a lump of clay!

These Coffee and Clay sessions are very popular and we run on a first-come first-served basis.  

Your clay can be fired for an additional £5 charge. A dip transparent glaze is also available for an additional £6.50.

Please note this is not suitable for children or toddlers.

Add Colour

🎨 NEW: Paint Your Clay Sessions – We are now offering drop-in paint sessions, giving you the opportunity to add colour to your clay creations. Use a range of underglazes to decorate pieces you have made at the museum during a Coffee and Clay session or workshop.

Looking for a Group Session?

Regrettably Coffee and Clay sessions are not suitable for large groups, however a private group session might be of interest. We offer bespoke group experiences to inspire and engage your group. These experiences can include a clay workshop, or a combination of clay handling, a tour and a tile demonstration. Make an enquiry for your group.
