Coming up: 4th July 2026
Travel back to the Stone Age and learn how to make your own flint arrowheads! Spend a fully-hands on day learning the craft of flint knapping. Uncover the secrets of our prehistoric ancestors and learn how they transformed stone into essential tools.
We will supply all that’s needed, and Flint Knapper Jonny Cope will explain and demonstrate the process before you shape flint into an arrowhead or two. Using a mix of traditional and more modern tools you will replicate one of several types of arrow heads.
During the day we will spend time learning about the styles of arrowheads, how they hafted (fitted onto the arrow shaft) and used to hunt game for food.
