Castle House is part of the original 12th-century Taunton Castle, home to The Museum of Somerset. This beautiful and historic property has been refurbished to the highest standard.<\/p>\n
Castle House is spread over two spacious floors. Once inside, through your own front door, a flight of stairs takes you to the first floor where you will find the grand Tudor living room, the elegant dining room and the kitchen, as well as two bedrooms and a large shower room.<\/p>\n
The kitchen is a clever contemporary design that suits the house and yet is fitted out for all your needs. It has a lovely view over the gardens of the Castle Hotel where you can sit and enjoy a morning coffee or afternoon tea.\u00a0The hotel can also provide delicious meals which can be brought over to you – or you can stroll next door to dine at the hotel.<\/p>\n
The second floor is home to two further bedrooms – including the master four-poster bedroom \u2013 and a\u00a0bathroom.<\/p>\n
Castle House sleeps seven\u00a0(plus cots) and is available for short breaks as well as full weeks.<\/p>\n\n\t\t
