The gallery introduces visitors to the formation and development of Somerset\u2019s regiments and explores why soldiers fight for their country. Please note that the painting, ‘Remnants of an Army’ by Lady Elizabeth Butler has returned to Tate Britain, London, where it will be on display to the public.<\/p>\n
