The last Great Bustard was seen over the Somerset Levels in the 1870s. It was long extinct in Britain but has recently been reintroduced.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: left;\">Joseph Sewell\u2019s Shoes<\/h2>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left;\">In the Gathering Gallery<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-160 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/swheritage.org.uk\/museum-of-somerset\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2018\/07\/TMoS_Giant_Shoes.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"208\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Joseph Sewell (1805-1829) was seven feet four inches (2.2 metres) tall and weighed 37 stone (235 kilograms.)<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: left;\">Boneshaker Bicycle<\/h2>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left;\">In the Going Places Gallery<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-161 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/swheritage.org.uk\/museum-of-somerset\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2018\/07\/TMoS_Boneshaker-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"213\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The Boneshaker Bicycle was made in 1866 for Mr Frampton May of Bridgwater.
