Coming up:  11th August 2020

Samuel Taylor Coleridge was born in Ottery St Mary in 1772. He was a child of the Devon fields but was taken from them at the age of seven when he was sent to school in London.  This talk will examine Coleridge’s Devon roots and the remarkable story of his collaboration with William Wordsworth in North Devon and West Somerset in 1797-8.

Tom Mayberry: Chief Executive of the South West Heritage Trust
