For a very limited time bring your friends, family or colleagues to try and solve a brand new pop-up Escape Room, especially designed for The Museum of Somerset by Lock & Code of Weston-Super-Mare. Historic Castle House will be transformed to house an exclusive game reflecting the building’s unique history.
In THE SOMERSET EMERALD, you must solve the clues to uncover the hiding place of a stolen jewel before the thief returns to claim it.
If you have never played an Escape Room before now is your chance. It’s is a 60 minute immersive experience in which your team must work together to find hidden clues and solve puzzles to escape before your time is up. Both games are uniquely themed and professionally designed to provide you with a thrilling and challenging experience. They are suitable for groups of friends; corporate team-building or families with older children.
If you are an experienced Escape Room player, here is your chance to play an exclusive, pop-up game in the unique surroundings of Taunton Castle, home of The Museum of Somerset.
Booking online required – £20 pp (plus booking fee)
Bookable for groups of between 3 and 6 players. Your booking will secure exclusive use of the room for your group. For larger groups you can book both rooms together so that up to twelve people can play at the same time.
Suitable for ages 8+. All groups must include at least one adult (18+)
Strange and Spooky
This autumn and winter there are lots of strange and spooky activities at The Museum of Somerset offering thrills and challenges around every dark corner. Investigate our Victorian Escape Rooms and Mystery Trails offering mystifying mind-benders and perplexing puzzles to be solved. Have the chance to creep into the shadows of the historic museum by torchlight for Halloween and be spooked by terrifying tales during Witching Hour.
