Coronavirus – event postponed
At this very concerning time for all of us the health and wellbeing of visitors, staff and volunteers is of the utmost importance to the South West Heritage Trust.
For that reason the Trust has taken the decision to postpone or cancel all planned events up to the end of May and to review later events in due course.
If you have booked and paid in advance for an event, please contact us and we would be happy to provide a refund.
You can email us at SRLM@swheritage.org.uk or phone 01458 831197.
In light of the rapidly-changing national picture we’ll be updating our website regularly with the latest information about Trust sites and activity.
Enjoy learning new skills and meeting new people in this stained glass workshop.
Richard Pelham, who has taught stained glass for over 20 years, will lead you through the techniques needed to create your own finished stained glass bee. During this workshop you will be taught to cut glass, solder and construct your a finished stained glass bee to take home at the end of the day.
Cost: £80.00 including all materials and hot drinks.
Book online or call the museum on 01458 831197.
Booking is essential – places are limited to 6, so early booking is advised.
Please contact us if you would like to give this experience as a gift, and we can arrange a gift voucher for you.
Bring your own lunch, or it can be purchased from the Grain Store Café on the day. Please wear suitable clothes for a workshop.
Images: These are bee suncathchers that Richard has previously created. It’s worth noting that the bees created in this workshop won’t look exactly like this as there is quite a lot of wire-working in these – you will be creating a much more simplified version.
