Design and carve a simple lino block to decorate cards and gift tags.

Print your design by hand using basic tools that you will be able to take away with you to continue using at home after the workshop.

Participants will need to bring an old wooden spoon, apron, sketchbook, pencil and ideas!

Session led by Joanna Briar.
Suitable for complete beginners.

About the Artist

Joanna’s artworks are on display at the Museum for her first solo exhibition ‘A Sense of Place.’ The works demonstrate Joanna’s deep connection to the local landscape and its natural diversity. Elements of Somerset’s unique geography – the lines of the landscape, water, wildflowers, meadows and open spaces – reoccur throughout.
