10th November 2018 - 2nd March 2019
This major exhibition continues our series of significant spotlight loans with a display of Victoria Crosses, awarded to soldiers from Somerset during the First World War.
Visitors to the exhibition will also experience an immersive audio-visual installation exploring the legacy of the conflict for Somerset people and the concept of remembrance. They will see the remarkable portrait of Harry Patch, and be able to leave their own reflections within the gallery space.
Faces of Conflict has been produced in partnership with West Somerset College as part of the Adventures in Time project funded by Arts Council England.
