Coming up:  6th June 2019

In the run up to D-Day the current site of the Somerset Heritage Centre was a hive of activity, as a major depot for the invasion. To mark the 75th anniversary of D-Day come and discover more about Somerset’s role in this momentous event. A talk on the history of the site will be followed by a tour behind the scenes to see Second World War collections. There will also be opportunities to ask questions about researching Somerset’s Second World War history.
