The lead teacher can visit free of charge beforehand. Please note that anyone attending with you will be subject to the appropriate charges. Children should be accompanied by an appropriate adult.<\/p>    <\/div>\n  <\/li>\n  <li class=\"accordion-item\" data-accordion-item>\n    <a href=\"#\" class=\"accordion-title\">\n      <p class=\"h3\">\n        <span>Who will be on site during our visit?<\/span>\n      <\/p>\n      <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"accordion-icon\" src=\"https:\/\/swheritage.org.uk\/wp-content\/themes\/swht\/assets\/images\/arrow_forward_ios.svg\"\/>\n    <\/a>\n    <div class=\"accordion-content\" data-tab-content>\n      <p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>The site will be closed to the public during your visit and you will have sole use of the facilities.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>Avalon Archaeology sits within the wider Avalon Marshes Centre site, which includes <a href=\"https:\/\/marsheshubteastop.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Marshes Hub Tea Stop<\/a>, the <a href=\"http:\/\/avalonmarshes.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Avalon Marshes Centre<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/somersetcrafts.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Somerset Crafts Gallery<\/a>. These sites are open to the public from 10 am to 5 pm seven days a week except for Christmas Day.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>    <\/div>\n  <\/li>\n  <li class=\"accordion-item\" data-accordion-item>\n    <a href=\"#\" class=\"accordion-title\">\n      <p class=\"h3\">\n        <span>Where will our coats and bags be stored?<\/span>\n      <\/p>\n      <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"accordion-icon\" src=\"https:\/\/swheritage.org.uk\/wp-content\/themes\/swht\/assets\/images\/arrow_forward_ios.svg\"\/>\n    <\/a>\n    <div class=\"accordion-content\" data-tab-content>\n      <p>Bags, coats and water bottles can be left in the Bulleid and Gray Hut, which will be accessible throughout the visit.<\/p>    <\/div>\n  <\/li>\n  <li class=\"accordion-item\" data-accordion-item>\n    <a href=\"#\" class=\"accordion-title\">\n      <p class=\"h3\">\n        <span>What else do I need to bring?<\/span>\n      <\/p>\n      <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"accordion-icon\" src=\"https:\/\/swheritage.org.uk\/wp-content\/themes\/swht\/assets\/images\/arrow_forward_ios.svg\"\/>\n    <\/a>\n    <div class=\"accordion-content\" data-tab-content>\n      <p>Your pre-session information may ask you to bring suitable receptacles to carry craft items back to school. For some activities, you may need to print out activity sheets at school before you come.<\/p>\n<p>Clipboards and pencils are provided for your use during your visits but you are welcome to bring your own.<\/p>\n<p>As an outdoor site in a rural location, please dress accordingly for the weather and the time of year. Hand sanitiser is available should you wish to use it. In line with legal guidelines, schools must bring their own First Aider and First Aid Kit.<\/p>    <\/div>\n  <\/li>\n  <li class=\"accordion-item\" data-accordion-item>\n    <a href=\"#\" class=\"accordion-title\">\n      <p class=\"h3\">\n        <span>Can a school group eat their lunch on site?<\/span>\n      <\/p>\n      <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"accordion-icon\" src=\"https:\/\/swheritage.org.uk\/wp-content\/themes\/swht\/assets\/images\/arrow_forward_ios.svg\"\/>\n    <\/a>\n    <div class=\"accordion-content\" data-tab-content>\n      <p>Yes, school groups can eat lunch outside in the Viking Ship or inside in the Saxon Longhall or Roman Villa, which includes benches and trestle tables for your use. School groups will need to take their lunchtime rubbish away with them.<\/p>    <\/div>\n  <\/li>\n  <li class=\"accordion-item\" data-accordion-item>\n    <a href=\"#\" class=\"accordion-title\">\n      <p class=\"h3\">\n        <span>Will the caf\u00e9 and shop be open?<\/span>\n      <\/p>\n      <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"accordion-icon\" src=\"https:\/\/swheritage.org.uk\/wp-content\/themes\/swht\/assets\/images\/arrow_forward_ios.svg\"\/>\n    <\/a>\n    <div class=\"accordion-content\" data-tab-content>\n      <p>Within the wide Avalon Marshes Centre site, the caf\u00e9 will be open to school groups and members of the public. The caf\u00e9 may be able to cater for school groups upon prior agreement. Please note only food purchased at the caf\u00e9 can be eaten at their tables.<\/p>\n<p>Children must be accompanied by a teacher or adult to visit the Somerset Craft Gallery.<\/p>    <\/div>\n  <\/li>\n  <li class=\"accordion-item\" data-accordion-item>\n    <a href=\"#\" class=\"accordion-title\">\n      <p class=\"h3\">\n        <span>Do you have a risk assessment for the site?<\/span>\n      <\/p>\n      <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"accordion-icon\" src=\"https:\/\/swheritage.org.uk\/wp-content\/themes\/swht\/assets\/images\/arrow_forward_ios.svg\"\/>\n    <\/a>\n    <div class=\"accordion-content\" data-tab-content>\n      <p>Our current Risk Assessment will be sent with the booking confirmation.
