Design and carve a simple lino block to decorate cards and gift tags.
Print your design by hand using basic tools that you will be able to take away with you to continue using at home after the workshop.
Participants will need to bring an old wooden spoon, apron, sketchbook, pencil and ideas!
Workshop led by Joanna Briar.
Suitable for complete beginners.
About the Artist
Joanna’s artworks will be displayed at the Museum when it reopens (dates to be announced.) Her exhibition, ‘A Sense of Place,’ demonstrates Joanna’s deep connection to the local landscape and its natural diversity. Elements of Somerset’s unique geography – the lines of the landscape, water, wildflowers, meadows and open spaces – reoccur throughout.
- Cost £75 per person, including a basic set of lino tools to take away with you, and tea/coffee.
- Please note, to ensure safe social distancing numbers have been restricted to 5 people per workshop. Please book early to avoid disappointment.
- The Grain Store Cafe is open for participants to buy lunch or bring a packed lunch.
